The design means there is less of a chance for anything to make contact with the camera damaging it during the daily use of the vehicle. The digitally-corrected image means that the warping of the on-screen image that normally occurs with wide-view cameras is minimized for a more accurate viewing experience for the driver. The 250-8184-HD meets the rigid visibility standards in place through FMVSS 111 regulations.
