2005 Suzuki Forenza and Reno Tech Tip

1. Make cable bracket out of "L" shaped cable bracket in kit. (Figure 2)
2. Mount the cable support bracket on the back side of the vehicle throttle support bracket. Mount at a slight angle towards the pulley that supports the existing throttle cable. Drill two 3/16-inch holes in vehicle throttle support bracket and mount with the screw and nuts provided in the kit.
3. Use loop cable on the vehicle pulley as showin in Figure 2. Use small tie strap through double bead connector and tie the loop cable to existing throttle cable. Rotate vehicle throttle pull open, drill a 3/32-inch hole through the lip of the pulley. Thread flasg nut on the cruise control cable bracket that was mounted in step 2. Drill a 3/16-inch hole in the support bracket when the cruise cable is directly over the vehicle throttle cable. Mount with the screw and nut provided in the kit. Use the cotter pin in the hole drilled through the lip of the vehicle throttle pulley to keep the throttle linkage in the pulley.
4. Cruise linkage must move freely in and out of the housing when using the gas pedal. All cable linkages must be secured in the vehicle throttle pulley.

VSS: ECM left of steering column Green connector position 8. Green/White 8000 ppm. Tach ECM White connector fourth from corner Gray.
