Rostra RearSight Back-Up Camera System Features New Adjustable Bracket Camera

LAURINBURG, NC - Rostra Precision Controls Inc. has developed a new heavy-duty, adjustable bracket camera for use on a variety of fleet vehicle applications.

The adjustable bracket camera, featuring a 6-foot power harness, is available in Rostra's RearSight back-up camera kit (#250-8050).

"Our new adjustable bracket allows for more versatility when mounting the RearSight camera because it works on a variety of different-size fleet vehicles, such as utility vans where it can be mounted above the rear doors." said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts, Rostra Precision Controls Inc. "The color image camera provides a 150-degree wide-angle view behind the vehicle to detect objects hidden in the vehicle's blind spot or too close to the ground for ultrasonic products to detect."

Available in black, the waterproof camera also features a 40-foot extension harness for longer vehicles.

Inside the cabin, the system uses a 3.5-inch TFT-LCD monitor that can be mounted to a vehicles headliner, dash or windshield. The monitor features dual video inputs for navigation, interior camera and/or DVD, and a wide angle view with reverse override.

Professional installation is recommended for the RearSight kit.
