Rostra Precision Controls Adds Thomas Richards To Their Engineering Management Team

Rostra Precision Controls, a leading manufacturer and distributor of cruise control systems, rear obstacle sensing systems, transmission components, electronic controls, engine management products, wire harnesses and more to the original equipment and aftermarket automotive industries, has named Thomas Richards as Product and Process Engineering Manager.

Tom augments the Rostra team with over twenty-two years of engineering experience in the automotive OEM and Aftermarket components supply markets. Tom has acquired extensive experience through various Product, Manufacturing and Project Engineering assignments with SSI Technologies, Honeywell, Invensys and GM-Saturn. He received his BSEE degree from Northern Illinois University.

This management position will bring additional technical expertise to a select group of Powertrain related product opportunities as well as to the 12 Volt Accessories product development and launch efforts. "Our objective here is to increase engineering capacity and bring additional technical leadership focus across a range of strategic products in Rostra's portfolio while enabling faster growth and further securing our long-term success" added Mark Oakes, Vice President of Operations.
