LAURINBURG, NC - Rostra Precision Controls Inc. is teaming up with W.E.T. Automotive Systems to distribute seat heaters to the 12-volt market.
Rostra is now supplying W.E.T. Automotive's universal seat heaters with Carbotex® technology to the 12-volt automotive aftermarket, reaching out to new customers.
Using Carbotex technology, the W.E.T. seat heater distributes heat evenly across the seat in less than one-minute, and its ventilation technology ensures a comfortable seat all-year round. The system is operated via a three-position illuminated switch with high/low, off/on functions.
The seat heating system features separate temperature sensors for cushion and back elements to allow for even heating and continual temperature monitoring. And the Carbotex elements can be cut horizontally for center listing applications.
A universal application, the W.E.T. seat heater kit includes mounting hardware, wiring harness, control switch and installation guide. The seat heater carries a three year or 36,000 mile warranty.
"The addition of W.E.T. Automotive seat heaters expands our product offerings and offers future revenue and growth opportunities for Rostra and our distributor network," said Sibyl Ringsdorf, manager of marketing and national accounts, Rostra Precision Controls Inc.
