Controls, Inc. has recently introduced BabyCam® a system which
allows safe and easy monitoring of children in their car seats
without taking driver focus from the road.
Offered as an “add-on” to the
RearSight® back-up camera systems, this safety conscious
product is designed for use in SUV’s, Vans, RV’s and can
even be used to monitor the interior of horse trailers. BabyCam®
features a small, compact, wide angle view that prevents
requiring the driver to turn around to check on children riding
in the back seat and infants in a reverse-oriented car seat.
A flush-mount installation places
the state-of-the-art high-quality color camera in the center of
the vehicle's roof interior/headliner for a streamlined,
OEM-like appearance. The camera plugs directly into the mirror
for easy driver viewing. A 3.5" LCD color display is
included that is built into the RearSight® rearview mirror to
allow quick driver monitoring of children.
Rostra offers a complete line of
back-up camera products providing a choice between rear view
mirror monitors or LCD monitors with 3.5” & ”screens and
dual video inputs that will also accommodate navigation systems
or DVD.
